1. The Leo Vince TT Exhaust is restricted to produce no more than 10% power increase over standard product as required by European law. This is done by means of a cone restrictor in the downpipe.
Leo Vince label the downpipe with a diagram and explanation of the restrictor.
2. This restrictor is held in place with a short weld. This has to be removed or broken to allow removal of the restrictor.

Usually this can be removed by placing a screwdriver of a suitable size into the restrictor cones hole and flexing against it until the weld gives. If this method does work for you then you can try a dremmel or similar to cut the weld away. Remove the cone restrictor from the down pipe.

3. File down any remaining weld from the downpipe to aid exhaust flow. The exhaust is now derestricted and will increase power to it full capability.
Please note that removing the restrictor invalidates the products warranty and the approvals on the product.
Please note that if you are fitting an after market exhaust there is one more thing that you will need to do. There is an additional rubber pipe coming from the standard exhaust.
The picture shows where the pipe was fitted to the exhaust.

There is no where for this to go on the replacement system. You will need to plug the rubber pipe and tuck it away in the frame work. Failure to do this results in the engine not fully able to rev past the mid range and some very strange popping sounds.
