I wanted to fit a side stand to my Ludix Blaster for ease. Propping the bike up to open the garage door, to post a letter etc.
Why an original part?
I made the mistake of thinking it may be easier to fit. All side stands fitted too the Ludix Blaster are a pain to install.
Why? Because you have to remove so many panels just to get to the frame section that you need to bolt to.
Notes:
Make sure that your dealer actually knows that it is for the 10" wheel model of Ludix. I got mine from the importer and they manged to try and get me the wrong one until I insisted that i needed a 10" model version.
To fit you most remove in order:
Front panel, rear legsheild panel, shock absorber cover, rear foot pegs, battery cover, top floor panel and then you can unhook the lower floor panel to fit.
Verdict:
Once fitted, it looks the business and works a treat. Good solid construction but a pain to fit.
